Karoline Leavitt just said Trump threatening to destroy Iranian civilian infrastructure which the UN, 100 US legal scholars and the Geneva Convention call a war crime was "tough rhetoric that gets tough results." The US government just officially defended a war crime threat as a negotiating tactic.

Congress is completely useless at this point.

Trump is now totally fine with Iran as long as they cut him in on the tolls they charge. The guy has the moral fiber of a sociopathic mob boss. He is a walking atrocity.

Congress remains on vacation. There has never been a more crucial time to reconvene. But, whereas the House is run by the weakest, most ineffective Speaker in its history, and the Senate not being much better, only the Potus could do this. It is a marked time in history, a time of failure.
