Why do we need to wait for conferences, or even worse peer review, to exchange ideas? Sharing and posting feel like talking at the wall, nobody needs to listen really. Scientific discourse should not have geographical limits. Why don't we have a global system for this?

Scientists and their good ideas: superficially, it always looks like the idea just sprouted out of their mind, when quite the opposite is true. Good ideas are brewed slowly, in the dark, long before anyone can see them.

Doing science requires us to speak 2 different languages: (1) Day science language is a highly precise language for designing & executing experiments; while (2) Night science language uses analogies & anthropomorphizes to give us intuitions about the unknowns we explore. TLDR: you can try using PMIDs instead of Journal names on your slides --> a small step towards shifting the scientific culture from one that values status to one that values substance.

Who does that? We rented a train JUST for the conference, that will take the participants from Prague to the woods of Bohemia. There'll be talks ON THE TRAIN. In Prague we'll have 5 locations with different atmospheres.
