We already knew Richard Tice aggressively avoided tax. Now weāre told his company just plain failed to pay tax that was legally due. For someone supposedly in public service he goes to extreme lengths to avoid paying his fair share towards public services

The point here is not the money saved (although that's useful) but the fact that some children preferred taking tablets to liquid formulations. Beware of assumptions about what patients can do or would choose - try asking them.

I have tabled a New Clause amendment to the Courts and Tribunals Bill which would deliver the specialist rape courts we promised in our manifesto, so these cases can be prioritised (and managed properly) without the "need" to remove jury trials for other offences.

If Labour were serious about fixing the NHS then instead of manipulating waiting lists by knocking people off before their treatment is complete and rationing who gets referred they would be focused relentlessly on increasing NHS capacity through training staff not using it as a bargaining chip
