I don't think I feel compelled enough to jump ship yet. Besides the recent moderation issues and CEO temper tantrums I fundamentally find this place much more enjoyable to use than Twitter ever was and none other alternatives I've seen fit what I really want out of a social media site

This right here. I love my art friends and art community, but I'm also trying to run a business as a freelancer/selling products and I need the reach! Every time we scatter to different platforms it's a little harder to exist as a working artist whose primary visibility is only online.

Trying to make a distinction from "this is art the artist makes to deal with trauma" and "this is the artist's very clear fetish" puts the privacy of real life victims at risk. I shouldn't have to give you a laundry list of all my triggers and traumas for you to decide my art has the right to exist
