Having played more of the back half of SilkSong, I'd actually argue that ( beginning none withstanding ) SilkSong is an -easier- game than the first HK. Hornet has so many more defensive and offensive options available, I've been chewing through the late game bosses. + The map is easier to navigate.

To be clear if like, the tweaks as released were kind of where it stopped I would not really be up in arms, I'm just spooked about the pressure encouraging continued changes. Really really enjoying the game, still workin' on the alt ending so not done yet! Lot's of side stuff to do.

I did enjoy Bananza quite a bit- But I do take issue with a number of it's design choices. Also Pauline ruins the vibe of the game so much. Took so much of the wind out of my sails.

It is absolutely wild that Unity's shader graph still doesn't support stencils. It's an extremely simple feature / implementation that would likely take a Unity engineer an hour or two to add, and people have been asking for it for like 8 years.

Wild they shipped Nightreign in this state, or maybe it's worth blaming Nvidia? Not sure. But it's worth noting that rolling back to drivers from october 2024 resolved all issues and the game runs perfectly for me now.

Really enjoyed my time with Look Outside. ( new Devolver published RPG ) I think it's really well written and kind of overwhelmingly bursting with random and optional content, almost no two people will have quite the same playthrough. Looking forward to watching someone else play it, now.

Bravely Default rules in about equal parts that it sucks ass. Played it years ago and have equal parts fond and bad memories of it- And was like "I never want to play something like this again", so never played the sequels.

Be nice if Mario Party Jamboree had a toggle for the "Buddy" system. It's not about it being overpowered or unfair, but simply how much it slows down the game. Just invest an ounce of thought into improving the pacing of these games in general. A lot of fluff animations.

New Huion had an issue on arrival- was able to fix it, I'll explain in case I can save others. So the pen wasn't sensitive enough- attempting low pressure sketching wouldn't register. The fix? Slap the shit out of the pen. Literally slap the side and bash the nib end firmly into a desk a bit. Fixed!
