Trump’s DOJ is arguing that it’s too late to undue the damage he’s done.

I believe that Trump believes that tariffs work! I (along with nearly every economist living or dead) believe he’s wrong!

I do have more optimism for the future than I did at inauguration, simply because I think this strategy of "break everything all at once as fast as we can without any window dressing" is not sustainable and is going to manifest public fury in the coming year.

Under the International Emergency Powers Act, Trump is citing the “unusual threat of…..trade imbalances” to justify setting tariffs. Soooo, he gets to set tariffs because he doesn’t understand international trade??? Doesn’t seem like a good reason to me!

Now I’m old. When I was young, I felt pride/respect when the civil rights & voting rights acts passed in the 60s. I felt relief when Roe v Wade was handed down in 73 and happy to get a credit card in 74. I still have my card but everything else is changed. I’m sad for America. I know I’m not alone.

We've been "Through the Looking Glass" for more than six months. Everything is turned upside down and backwards. Our foreign enemies, and there are a lot of them, are having a field day with this idiot.

Trump wants to replace the BLS Commissioner with someone “ more competent.” Woops! He misspelled “ corrupt and compromised”.

My husband of several decades is a conservative republican (not a Trump fan). He just said: let’s vote early in the mid-terms—for democrats. He wants Congress to split! Just several more million like him and we’ll be good to go!
