At a very minimum, Democrats need to meet voters where they are. If they don't, they shouldn't be in the party. For example, the voters overwhelmingly oppose the Iran war and want to abolish ICE. The leadership of the party has made it clear it doesn't really oppose the war or want to abolish ICE.
