Trump ripped up the Iran nuclear deal and created this mess. Now, he's putting servicemembers in harm's way with no clear plan and no Congressional approval. The American people deserve answers — and Congress needs to do its job.

Wars can only be declared by Congress. Taxes can only be levied by Congress. Spending can only be appropriated by Congress. Laws can only be passed by Congress. Any President who refuses to work with Congress is an enemy of the Constitution and the rule of law.

Voting is a vaccine. It's not 100% effective in preventing bad things, but the likelihood of Democrats making things worse is a HELL of a lot less likely than the alternative. But just like getting vaccinations makes your other preventative methods more effective, so does voting regularly.

Last night, the President made a mockery of the affordability crisis, and failed to acknowledge how his tariffs are making it worse. These tariffs are a tax on Maine people, they're unconstitutional, and they have to stop.
