As an avid supporter of print-and-play roll-and-write #BoardGames, I'm dismayed by the increase of "AI art" used by the designers. This is what I sent to a designer today. So bummed, the game looks good. But there are lots of good games coming out and I'll toss my $ at those not using AI "art".

Gamers! DriveThruRPG.com put together a package of amazing TTRPG PDFs to raise money for James, the young son of my friend Amber Cook (who passed away last month). It includes a copy of my Brave New World supers RPG, plus many other great games.

I will be attending my first Pax unplugged this year. Looking forward to seeing all the wonderful board games folks! My schedule is open except on Sunday if anyone wants to meet up.

One thing I try to remind folks in the board game industry is that hobbyists quickly forget how complex our hobby is. What we call a "light" game is considerably heavy and odd to the vast majority of people in the country.

I love board games.
