Reached out to the surgeon's team, checking in re: my pain and discomfort. The nurse responded it was normal for three weeks and to try and rest more. And I'm like, girl, I wish I could.

The downside of passing out for three hours shortly after the kid was in bed is that it's past *my* bedtime and I'm having trouble falling asleep.

Incisions appear closed, but I appreciate the padding from the gauze so they stay for now. They're *just* beginning to settle, though there's still so much inflammation up near my clavicle. Pain and discomfort persist, but I am at work (and doing my best to take it slow and easy 😩)
