Avowed COMPLETE! (Game number 8 in 2026) I have my gripes, but overall it’s a great game. Really hope Obsidian gives us more Eora to explore in the future! The Pillars of Eternity universe is such a unique and amazing franchise!

Stuff like this I don’t mind too much. There have been times where I’ve forgot to hit record on an awesome moment. As long as it’s just a feature that people can choose to have on or off & doesn’t impact performance that’s fine. Plus it’s not taking anyone’s job. Just theoretically “helping” me.

Bit a good chunk out of Avowed today! Absolutely stunning environments and superb combat. Just some little changes to the storytelling and progression could’ve made this great game perfect.

Experimented more with CBOMBed consoles to investigate the faulty timer UI introduced with Sony's new DRM for digital content. We still don't know why it resets for some people, but at least it will vanish eventually. That can take up to 20 minutes, though. Still quite confusing.

I love how in America we live in a constant surveillance state and just by visiting a website a corporation can tell when your last bowel movement was. Despite all that we somehow cannot stop spam calls.

People who say “it’s just a pet” have never had a tiny animal become the only reason a room felt less empty. Never had one look at them like being here was enough. Pets might not understand the weight you’re carrying. But they love you hard enough to make the world feel lighter for a minute.

When is it Friday? 😩

There are times when the enemy projectiles are so beautiful I forget they can hurt me 😂 Made it to biome 3 last night. About 6 hours in. This gameplay is from one of my first runs in biome 2. Hence the panicked movements. I’m not a fan of too many roguelikes but Returnal and Saros are PEAK.

First biome down… On to the next! Loving the gameplay improvements they’ve made in Saros. Unlocking and equipping modifiers for each run based on what you want to accomplish is pretty awesome. Gives each run more purpose whether you just want to farm lucenite to level up or power up for a boss.

My experience with Saros so far. One health bar? Pffft, no problem. Two health bars? Haha, okay okay. THREE health bars!? You MOTHERFUUU… (dead) This game is awesome.

This is kind of the inherent issue with digital storefronts. Obviously a business can’t sell an item with a loophole that it can be refunded and the user gets to keep the full license. There’s two options: 1) Exactly what they’re doing 2) No refunds Personally I think they chose the best option.

ACTUALLY having conversations and getting to know people on here has been incredible. All those years on Xwitter nobody opened up like they have here and I think our community is so much better for it. Seeing everyone support each other is a wonderful thing.

Relaxing Sunday. Did some yard work and then got to spend time with Avowed. Love the combat and the exploration is stellar! Everywhere you go is handcrafted and rewarding. It’s also GORGEOUS! So that helps 😆
