Why is your favorite game your favorite game? The Legend of Zelda is my favorite series and has been for nearly two decades. Breath of the Wild took it to new heights and completely absorbed me. Despite 100% completing this massive game, I can still go back and find new things to enjoy.

While I’d never want to replace Link completely, it’s nice having some games where Zelda gets the spotlight.

I'm gonna throw in my two cents. It's okay to like a game without claiming to be a fan of it's entire genre. You can like Expedition 33 without being a dedicated JRPG fan. All these people claiming otherwise are keeping that gate with their life, and they don't want you liking "their" games.
