Another reason to NOT use genAI made assets as placeholders (if this is even a thing 🤷🏻‍♂️): The person capturing footage for your game's trailer is much less likely to notice them! When an asset is NEON HOT PINK or incredibly rough, that makes it crystal clear I should avoid or capture around it.

There are so many people in the replies here that love getting comic updates via RSS feeds! Definitely validates our goal of including it in #ComixCleric once we launch.

I really don't know why I make myself feel bad that my apps won't ship with all the features I and others want. "Not yet" is better than "never." Bluesky STILL doesn't have a post drafting feature, which I desperately want. I'm still here using it, though. I don't think ill toward anyone over it.

The paid version of CC will be cheap, include hosting, and have additional features before they're released to the DIY version. It will be updated more frequently than the free version. There will also be pricing tiers for beta-testing features, and for setting up a CC site with custom features.

The "DIY" version will always be free and open-source. It will contain everything you need to spin up your own site with Comix Cleric and host it wherever you'd like. It will be updated a couple of times per year with bug fixes and additional features. It's basically the "stable" version of CC.

This is incredibly difficult for me to say, but... Worcestershire.

This is why I self-host or install locally as often as I can. Especially things that don't require an account/login. Those databases will eventually go down, too, so you won't be able to login or access ANYTHING, even if it's installed locally.

Weird idea for Godot (if it hasn't been pitched already): Create a new file type that is just a zip archive underneath and let us bundle our scripts with our resources/templates/components so we can import one file instead of managing several or an entire directory's worth.
