Train yourself out of overusing Ctrl+Z in your digital drawings by practicing in a sketchbook where you can only use pen. When you have to live with the lines you put down, those lines become stronger and more interesting.

More concrete advice: you didn't draw enough back-of-the-skull in that profile portrait. Still not enough. Nope, still not enough.

Sometimes the way that works for most people won't work for you. If you lean into that instead of fighting it, I think that's where you find an art style that is really You. Try different approaches!
