I love OCs, talking about OCs, interacting with OCs, building up their personalities, stories etc. drawing them, seeing how other people draw and interpret your OCs, I could go on and on. OCs are amazing ❤️

There is now what I would call extremely compelling evidence that one of the winners is AI art. This is exceptionally disappointing and unbelievably embarrassing for all involved (the loathsome author and Capcom alike). I genuinely don't see any point in participating in stuff like this anymore.

it's important to know when to "kill your darlings" (i.e. get rid of favorite stuff that isn't working for the story) but it's also just as valid to write the story AROUND your darlings and see what comes out of that. you're still gonna have to let stuff go! but interesting things can happen
