It would be impossible, now, to build a blue state university system college football dynasty because no blue state board of regents would tolerate what would be necessary to build it. -OS

Like plenty of programs feel they should be treated differently, but Texas actually does have the resources and concerted evil to hold a gun to NCAA's head. -OS

OSU vs IU should be a great game, or they could both rest their starters ahead of the playoffs.

Tyson is closing a Nebraska plant that employs 3,200 workers in order to “right-size” its business. The meatpacking giant paid its CEO $22.7M last year, 525x its median employee's pay. It also spent $196M in stock buybacks to reward shareholders. Textbook corporate greed.

Just some kitchen table math, those jobs represent roughly $180 million payroll in a town of around 10,000 people, many more jobs will be lost.

Tyson CEO Donnie King made $22.7 million last year. The week before Thanksgiving, he told 3,200 workers in Lexington, Nebraska that they're losing their jobs.

A real President ………. Sixty-two years ago today, November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. He was shot while riding in an open-top car and died later at Parkland Hospital. The event, which occurred at 12:30 p.m. CST, was a moment of national tragedy.

My son works construction, spends his days building houses he'll likely never afford, goes home to apartment and gets ready for his night job waiting tables because his day job doesn't pay enough to afford his apartment.

I feel like Ken Burns really just phoned it in on this new documentary, didn't even interview any survivors of the war this time, and the soundtrack isn't as good as his last war film. Check out this video, "the vietnam war ken burns soundtrack"
