We are sad to learn that T.K. Carter has passed away at the age of 69. Carter is best known in the horror world for playing the character Nauls in John Carpenter's The Thing (1982). His credits also include Space Jam, Punky Brewster, Ski Patrol, and Tony Scott's Domino.

Oh sick, I figured out a really fun way to incorporate a variation on the trolls from Troll Hunter (2010, dir. André Øvredal) into Realis. Daylight from Realis-Itself turns them to stone, light from the Corpse Sun brings them back to life stronger than before.

I'm reading Boy in Darkness by Mervyn Peake. Holy shit, you ever read something that immediately lodges itself in your brain as THE exemplar of a genre?
