I rewatched Dune last night. Fuck, that movie is gorgeous but the casting/performances seem focused on aesthetics more than essence. For a tale of kingdoms clashing, there is a lack of regal poise. Baron seems bored, Jessica too emotional, and Chalamet kept reminding me of Luke Wilson in X-Files.
