We had a walk along the canal to a floating craft market. There were a lot more boats on the other side of the bridge I was standing on. They had everything that I needed. 🍺🍕

We had a great evening at my disco in the pub. Around 60 people from the village turned up to celebrate with me, some bearing bottles of alcohol of some sort. My sister sent a Fortnum & Mason cheese and wine hamper. Still got a headache.

I've had a good day at work but am looking forward to the Turkish restaurant this evening. Helen is taking me to Berlin for a long weekend soonish, she got me a bottle of good West Indian rum and I treated myself to a new watch. A Seiko Speedtimer. I'm a lucky oldish man.

Tonight's free pub food was minted lamb pie, roast potatoes, pig's in blankets and veg. For context, twenty people turned up for the fishing club meeting, eighteen people ate food. 😋

A rubbish night's sleep after cocktails and beers is not making for a perky Dave this morning. However in showbusiness, the show must go on. I've only got eight hours of filming today. 🤢😂😂

Day two and a different hotel room, different outfit. We are going to a cocktail bar in Stratford-upon-Avon owned by Helen's cousin. 🍸🍹🥃

I've checked into a hotel and the room is roasting hot, the electric radiator was set at 28 degrees! I've opened all the windows but it will take ages to cool down. I'm going to dinner dressed as a 1970's war correspondent, seems appropriate for today.

I didn't think we'd had that much rain but the field opposite the house has flooded.

The day just got a whole lot better, my favourite British band by a long long way.
