Freight transport was 14.7% of NL's emissions in 2023 and considered "hard to abate" (www.gov.nl.ca/eccc/files/2...). But we have lots of electricity and most travels along the TCH so maybe we should be examining how to support truck electrification if the Chinese are making it work?
