I have both those with chronic health conditions and medics in my inner circle/family so I well know there are serious issues on both sides. At the end of the day tho, it comes down to this; if doctors don't stand up now and do the hard thing, there'll be no NHS left for anyone. Up the workers 💪

Health service inflation estimated at ~4% (population increase, people living longer, ill for longer etc) NHS yearly increase for 14 yrs has been less than 1%. You can’t cut NHS by ~3% a year for 14 yrs & expect efficiency savings. Things are cut to the bone & beyond. I know. My wife is a nurse.

I really can’t bear to see such headlines anymore. Immigrants prop up this country and its systems and institutions. Most of them work really hard to contribute to society. They are equally deserving of a dignified life that doesn’t involve being scapegoated by politicians & media everyday. Enough!
