I voted against the Immigration & Asylum Bill last night. Forcing asylum seekers to pay ÂŁ10,000 for safety and shelter is punitive. Asylum is a human right protected by law, not a privilege with a price tag. The Government is heading down the same failed path as the last Tory administration.
