This is from 2023 I remember how good the service was for my patients before disaster struck - austerity, money wasted on private sector involvement and faux competition. We could go back, it was possible then, it's possible now.

Letās go back to 2010! We didnāt need cancer pathways as urgent referrals were seen in 2-3 weeks, routine in 2-3 months Recruitment was rising, jobs were good. It wasnāt perfect but in 4 decades of NHS work it was the best it had been THEN SOMETHING HAPPENED ā¦.

New contract very much needed - we can't transfer hospital services into the community via GPs unless funding is also transferred (or better still boosted) for them to be able to take them on.

Yes.We are all desperate for GP appointments! GPs are unemployed! Yet the Gov is refusing to allow the creation of more GP posts. A false economy:the sicker people get,the higher the costs of their treatment & care! So why? Do they want NHS collapse to promote privatisation?

Doctors knew what the terms were! -Didnāt know because they started medical school 6-7y before they entered the workforce (Universities overstate future prospects) -Ā£100,000 of debt & will pay this as a tax on earnings -Worst affected by cuts For the RPI complaining here is CPI

Despite receiving larger increases, doctorsā pay has still ended up lower in real terms compared to 2010 levels than that for other staff. In June 2025, resident doctorsā and consultantsā earnings were 15.3% and 19.4% lower in real terms respectively

Some people never use their GPs or hospitals 20% of people wonāt visit at all in any one year Then there are people who visit 50 times, due not fault of their own Itās often the healthy or wealthy that canāt see the point of investing in healthcare until they or family need it
