Part of my job is managing a data tape archive. Two people from IT were here, both clearly younger than me. They admitted they’d never seen tapes used before and asked if I could load one. The tape went ka-CHUNK and they were both like “whoooooa”… It was cute, but this also means I’m old!!

I AM FURIOUS. Adobe Animate remains an industry standard for TV animation. Star Trek: Lower Decks was made in Animate. Haunted Hotel was made in Animate. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was made in Animate. And because you can't buy a permanent licence anymore, it'll just be gone.
