Tying into my last posts, Benji was an exercise to see if I could make a stereotypically "boyish" design for a buneary while still keeping him recognizable as one. Daphne was a design challenge to turn her from a deerling into a normal deer. Her blond hair is a nod to her old design's head flower.

#Benji is an 18 year old cis boy/man, and as a nerdy kid with a ton of insecurities, is deeply unsettled by his new "cute" form. The "feminine" look of his line's evolution sends his anxieties into overdrive. As such, he purposefully wears his fur scruffy and unkempt as an act of defiance. #oclore
