But that doesn't mean that progress isn't worth pursuing, either! Even though neither Mars nor Pepper are ending this arc satisfied with their progress, they're also both in a different spot from where they started, with a lot of fresh information/perspectives to think on for a while.

When Pepper tries to start over the sheen on his hair looks like a halo a little bit. Or at least the shadow under Clair's one. Also, he looks so cute with his ears flopping behind him when he runs <3

I haaaate being able to relate so much to Pepper in so many aspects, he just wants to fix shit, it’s what he’s ‘good’ at it. Sure he also wanted to go up the stairs, but he does care about helping people with their issues. It’s just wrapped up in his current issues that he can’t shake.

you would think if one wins they would get control of the glass. but it's kind of the struggle that lets them observe each other. although pretty hard to smell someone through a glass I like this kind of illustration of a halo head scene. I feel like it's like a good way to mark an arc

I love the details here. Pepper struggling, holding onto the table, straining against her. But his hand is on top, sorta "leading". And she's letting him do it, she's being passive, just holding still. It lets her see through the glass as well as he tries to view her. He's still going by her flow.
