Good and fluffy feels for yer night!

A collection of some of my ff fanart that I did a couple years ago. I was working as a layout artist back then and drawing backgrounds all day everyday resulted in a lot of fanart. And because I didn’t particularly enjoy the art style of the show. 🌞

Most of he time I draw all my cat characters on two legs, but these two, Meecah and Theo, need to walk on all fours, too, for story reasons. It makes them extra cute and fun to draw, because I can let go of human anatomy. :D switching between two and four legs is a challenge of its own.

I had forgotten to turn off automatic updates on my Mac and now the OS Tahoe has made my cintiq 27QHD obsolete, because it doesn’t seem to work with old Wacom drivers. Downgrading a mac is such a pain in the butt. Doable, but annoying. So annoying that I’d rather change devices.

A perfect place for a nap away from the heat! A story sketch. Slowly kicking myself back on track with this project.

I sat down to doodle and drew this. I feel like I should listen to this serious dog and just go to bed instead.

Some kitty heads I doodled while watching a documentary about volcanoes last night. I have been playing Animal Crossing again and really enjoying it after restarting my island. Haven’t drawn much because of that. A wee creative break.

I was thinking of opening family portrait commissions. You could share with me a dear photo of yours, of your family, friends or anything, and I’d turn it into a cat/dog/your animal of choice illustration. I’ll let you know if it’s going to happen. Gotta think about the specifics. 🧐

Continuing with sketches. I’ve been sick with a flu or something, but also hella bored. Drawing anything is a win. Also watched a documentary about Saimaa ringed seals today, and there was one shot where a pup was sleeping under water, floating like a water balloon.

Hello 2026, I hope the new year has started well for you all! When I was a kid, we moved around quite a bit. My current home might actually be the one where I’ve lived the longest, and occasionally I get this strange urge to look for new flats.

Sharing a couple cards I made for friends and family this year.

I decided to stay alone at home this Christmas and it’s been nice to prepare things just the way I like. No stress, no fuss. Can’t, however, help but feel the longing for someone to share these moments with. And life in general. Maybe 2026 is the year.

The feeling of relief when you finally wrap up a project you've been working on for years, and which you've postponed the last two years because it causes you so much stress. I'm super happy I finished it, even if it doesn't really reflect my style or skill level anymore. And the lack of cats.

I told myself to relax and do something else, but here I’m again. Krampus is feeling left out, let Krampus in your home.

Another warm up sketch of a friend’s dog, he’s an American hairless terrier and an absolute lover boy. An anxious and screaming lover boy, but who isn’t?

I got a sudden urge to sketch some humans (what are those?), and who could’ve imagined that if you don’t draw people you get rusty? I used to only draw people for ages and I wanted to be a fashion illustrator. Then I got my last cat and turned into a crazy cat daddy. Funny.

It’s still pretty early in December, but I’ll try to take as much time off social media as I can for the rest of the month, to rest well before I get my unemployed arse back to work again. So happy holidays and joyous new year!
