Working on a new illustration to add to my portfolio. I always tell myself to simplify my style, make it more painterly, but here I’m, spending over an hour to research and draw vintage chairs. Help.

I designed this character, Veikko the Cat, and made a little comic of him when I was 9. One day I will redraw and translate the comic for everyone to enjoy (there’s a lot more pages). The amount of nonsense is delightful.

I went to the main library today to print some posters with friends. While trimming the papers, two little AI bros (maybe 12 or so yo) came to rage bait us 🤣 “is that ai?” “Did you really do that yourself?“ “Ai would do that so much better”

The lady next door had the scariest outfit — the kids didn’t go there the following year. I drew this mostly on CSP, but I haven’t yet found brushes I like there, especially watercolour brushes, so did the final touches on Procreate.

I wish there was a service to swap malfunctioning body parts or uninstall faulty drivers. Dyslexia and aphantasia are slowing down my CPU and hogging all the RAM while doing nothing. Brains, please, get a grip.

I did a phone wallpaper of my baby girl I had to rehome over a year ago. Life hasn’t been the same since, but I know she got a wonderful, loving and peaceful home, so that helps.

October prompts are wrapped for me. I’ve to take the rest of this week and next week to rest and chill. 🛌 Until next time, have this sketch I did for a painting I haven’t started yet. :D

I have a Halloween themed illustration brewing, but it’s a lot of work, so meanwhile, have these flying puppies.

Did some quick colour studies. I wanted to do some movie shot studies, comp and lighting, but couldn’t find anything catching my eyes before my attention took me somewhere else.
