Lots of activity on our last fieldwork day at Mount Sandel. Coring in the woods (and a challenge for GPS!), volunteers helping process samples, Borough Council filming us and lots of visitors! Great day.

This is one of three lines of standing stones on the moor of Saint-Just in Brittany known as the 'Alignements du Moulin', named after the windmill that can be seen behind them. Measuring 65m long, it consists of 13 stones of different sizes and colours. #StandingStoneSunday
