I had a lovely time this evening talking to @postmedarch.bsky.social PhD group about my research into shieling practice in Scotland - and our excavations in Glencod - as part of a session on archaeologies of agriculture with Jeff Oliver and Eugene Costello.

Been watching a talk from the British Folklore Society about the 2025 National Folklore Survey For England and discovered that 70% of English people who visit stone circles do it because of something they watched on TV/Film. Doctor Who, Quatermass and Children of the Stones for the win!
