Sometimes I think about my father's best friend telling people when I was a kid that I was a quiet kid until you got me talking about something I'm interested in and then you can't get me to shut up. Now that I'm becoming more comfortable with who I am, it's really just the latter part that's true

Kamen Rider Ichigo feels like an old Saturday morning cartoon except it's live action and he's beating up nazis and in current year that hits really fucking good

In two episodes of the original Kamen Rider I have seen more blood than in 10 collective seasons of modern Kamen Rider. This shit used to have sauce. I watched a guy splat into a puddle.

The only KR I've finished as they were airing were Build, Zi-O, Zero One, and Gavv, and although Build is my favorite, Gavv is hitting me the hardest now that it's over. Its themes are very near and dear to my heart.

I remember as a kid my mother got mad at me a lot because I just didn't see things in front of me. Sometimes she'd get so frustrated I'd cry, because she thought I was messing with her. Turns out the one getting messed with was me, by my stupid brain. Sometimes I just don't see things in front of me

What laypeople think ADHD is like: "Lol I'm so random look a sparkly object wheeee" What ADHD is actually like: "I've had the Wheels on the Bus song stuck in my head for five hours straight and I'm going to eat glass if this doesn't stop soon"

Me: okay. Okay it's perfect I just have to keep it still for several hours so the glue dries. Easy. It's out of sight, out of my way, this will be easy. Two minutes later picks it up without thinking and ruins everything

The new show from the Bojack Horseman creator isn't really doing it for me but I do really appreciate the character that canonically has ADHD. Dude is a MOOD. Every time he's on screen I'm just like "Yeah. Yep. Oh no."

If anyone ever writes a musical based on my life, it's going to need at least one number about me spending three hours trying to decide how to respond to a text message and ultimately not responding at all.
