"Bird Box" has been in my movie discussion vocabulary as an example of an okay/decent movie that was over hyped to the point of being painfully underwhelming upon watching. Having just seen Wonka, I think I finally found the opposite example.

Sometimes I wonder much accents have changed over centuries without us knowing. I like to think of time travelers going back to the 1800's and being all "WHY DOES EVERYONE SOUND SO WEIRD!?" and people reacting with "WHY DO YOU SOUND SO WEIRD!?"

I'm up to five shiny Kangaskhans and not a single shiny Furfrou.

I haven't had much luck finding a shiny Furfrou but I've found four shiny Kangaskhans and an shiny alpha Clefairy so that has to count for something.

Z-A is so weird for me because I wholeheartedly agree with most criticisms I hear about it but there's just enough in there to appeal to my odd gaming interests that I'm having a great time with it. I would never recommend it but I've enjoyed it a lot. So basically, don't get it unless you're me.

Someone who worked on Pokemon Legends: Z-A must have a thing for chubby short kings because I've seen more diverse representation of that specific body type in my first few hours with the game than I have ever seen in a lifetime of gaming.

Reddit's new notification inbox for desktop browsers might be the biggest UI downgrade I've ever experienced. It's clunkier, it takes more clicks to do anything, when you click on a post it shows up in the sidebar with even less text, and the functionality is inconsistent.

Opened up Pokemon Violet to see what shinies I had and I ended up randomly running into a shiny Snubbull and a shiny Sobble. It's like the game is trying to tempt me back into shiny hunting.

Splatfest This was made during the Pokemon Splatfest. I think I chose Team Fire specifically because of Fuecoco. Admittedly, I think I typically pick water starters more often but I was hyped for Fuecoco at this point.

Quick question, would you prefer these Pokemon comic reposts with or without commentary? I'm enjoying revisiting and reminiscing about them. I could also leave the commentary as a reply to the comic. That might be more convenient for anyone reposting or quoting.

Potential I drew this before the Paldea Starters had their final evolutions revealed. I think my predictions were decently accurate. This was also one of the few times I used a pronoun. I tried to avoid gendering the Pokemon. To me, Sprigatito is a girl, Quaxly is a boy, and Fuecoco is a Fuecoco.

Quaxly's Baking Corner This is where the personalities I gave Quaxly, Fuecoco, and Sprigatito cemented and the point where I decided I was going to draw some Pokemon fan comics for a while.

The Spookiest Pokemon This was one of the few Pokemon comics I posted to Reddit. I'm not entirely sure why I didn't post more of them on there. I think the website seemed a whole lot scarier at that point in my life.

Halloween Role Models Slightly closer to the characterization I'd stick with for the Paldea starters. I think I originally thought of Fuecoco as being more of a prankster. Sprigatito is definitely not as chill as she would eventually become.

HAPPY GARDEN CLUB! Remember when I said I'd upload some of my old Pokemon comics to this account and never did that? Let's fix that. This is the first Paldea Starter comic I did. I think it was shortly after they were announced. There's definitely some differences in characterization.
