Drill still does not work. More swears. I have consoled myself with fixing squeaky hinges with WD40.

Battery all charged and added to drill. Switch drill on. Nothing. Can’t get battery back off. Swearing. Hear handyman next door. I ask for help - hurrah. Removes battery like he’s flicking away a bug. Happy and infuriated. Waiting for spare battery to charge. We go again!

Have given up with the new garden tool. Managed about 10 in haphazard places and my hands are now raw. Drill bit ordered. 🤞🏻it works with the smaller one of Himself’s drills as I can’t manage to remove the battery from the larger one. Neither of them have the recommended voltage!

Well now. Unexpected #TinyJoy. Gladioli Blue Isle Bulbs planted for next year are coming into flower!

I have purchased a gadget and managed to plant 3 bulbs. Only 47 to go. The ground is still very hard and I have gone for a lie down. Spring #TinyJoys are going to be hard work.

Slightly discombobulated. Alarm did not go off this morning and we have only just recently risen from our pits.

Decided that SiL not coming today. Have changed and thought I’d plant me bulbs. Managed the Liatris easily. Ground to hard for Daffs. Pah.

Post people’ing recharge.

Nephew finally arrived at 2pm not needing soup as he’d stopped on the way for food. Went back to town as needed a toothbrush. Had dinner whilst looking at his phone. Disappeared upstairs at 7pm and not seen again til 10am. But he brought me great socks!

Nephew has SiL’d me. Yesterday advised he’d be on 9:30/10:00am train. Messaged at 9:30 to say is going for breakfast and will be with me mid-morning. It is now mid-morning and he is not yet on the train. I am very bad at this people’ing lark.

I am once again preparing to be SiL’d. Not idea what day or time. Making soup just in case it is a daytime flying visit. Being lazy and ordered a curry kit in my shop in case it is a flying evening visit. Other US nephew coming tomorrow. I am already over-people’d.

Feeling a bit emotional about the packed stadium at Twickenham for the woman’s final. It’s a great sight.
