So proud of the tiny papillon. It’s been a taxing couple of days at the Other Place. Bebe not well. Many visitors. Much noise, laughter and general charging about. We have escaped for a day though we may be returning on Thursday. Tiny Ted lives for today. Snoring.

I went to the W shop after the gym to get some coriander leaves and treated myself to the Saturday paper. The one with magazines and all manner of stuff hanging out of it. Reflected that even as a student I could afford Proper Newspapers daily and two on Sundays. Now it’s a rare thing.

I need to build up my arm and shoulder strength for lifting up hefty babies.

I dragged myself out of my pit and went to the gym. It wasn’t so bad.

Reminds me of an old family friend no longer with us.

I used to cook a lot. Tonight I did a big salad with jacket potato and it was deadly dull despite all the colours and all that jazz. Dug out some old recipes to save me from the “I should have just had toast as usual” feel. Tomorrow will be better.

Today has been full on by my usual standards. Bebe watch involves being on my feet from 7 am till 5 30 and then I went out with an ex colleague for a catch up at a seafront bar with food. Came back to talk hospital tactics for tomorrow. I also have to see how nursery drop off goes. Then just ..
