Favorite undies

Finally got around to watching this last night. I think I enjoyed it as a tone poem. Great visuals, great atmosphere, but the narrative didn’t work for me. I also really didn’t enjoy the ending. I know that a lot of people were really moved by this movie, but it didn’t have the same effect on me.

I’m way behind on my Oscar nominees, so I’m watching as many as I can between now and Sunday. First up was Anora. My first Sean Baker movie. Mikey Madison was great; great directing. Makes me want to go back and watch more Sean Baker films.

I’m not going to spam you with all my PV vacay pics (that’s what IG is for), but I had an amazing trip. Damn near perfect.

I've had a lot of ups and downs this past month or so. I got laid off 2 weeks before Christmas. I actually did have a really great holiday season with my close friends. I turned 50 a week ago. Then I had to say goodbye to my sweet 15 year old dog two days after that.
