It takes years, sometimes DECADES to master a style. It's VERY rare to see people switch up styles overnight unless they clearly state they are studying, and then they aren't afraid to post the references they used. There is no improvement in a week/month/year without an evident pattern of practice

With hearing of that scammer artist who was selling commissions they traced from AI, it's once again SO IMPORTANT that you guys pay attention to how artists "improve". If someone's style is constantly changing, chances are extremely high that they are tracing someone else.
