The archives of the Billy Ireland Cartoon Art Museum and Library was nothing but awe. Seeing the original Calvin and Hobbes art was the closest thing to a sacred experience I’ve ever had.

Went to go find our new cat and he was curled up with The Youngest in her bed. I cannot express the moment of adoring connection these guys had at the shelter. Serendipity at its finest and furriest.

After losing Naka, who was Harper’s BFF cat, we offered to adopt a kitten. Harper beelined to the adult cat room instead and swept up a giant, 4yo potato of a cat. She named him Éponine after a small, French woman in Les Mis but fine. Ignore my brilliant suggestion of “Rip Torn Furniture”.
