Probably mostly the same stuff, but a lot more of fan art and personal art, more gifts for others. I'd still want to do book covers and "work" stuff, but without deadlines and pressure. And the most important part - I'd take breaks when I don't have inspiration or just want to do other things.

Reference vs Art Sometimes I use DAZ 3D. It's a great tool, but I never use it as the only reference. My ref folders for complex scenes might contain 100+ different images, including my own photos (especially for hands!).

Reference vs Art nowadays I do DAZ for posing & clothing then take it into Blender for lighting, sculpt and environment and supplement with photos for colours, texture and expression. (for painted work stuff at least. personal linework+flats art is usualy based on a singular photo of a pose)

Reference vs Art Most of my refs are pretty lazy and I frequently buy kits (buildings, furniture) or daz assets (wings, creatures) I particularly like 3D refs for finding cool shadow shapes, getting rim light right, and a guide for metallic surfaces (which reflect the environment)

Reference vs Art Love this trend, it's always a lot of fun to see how fellow artists create their references. Goofy 3D scenes are the best!
