The composition of the human gut microbiome is related to oral antibiotics used by the host 4-8 years earlier. This is the conclusion of our new study in about 15000 individuals living in Sweden and published in Nature Medicine

Stress has been suggested to increase the risk of type 1 diabetes. We assessed the association of loss-of-1st-degree-relative on risk of type 1 diabetes in 3.5 million Swedish children with >86k losses and >18k diabetes events and found no evidence of such impact.
