Completely agree. Re-reading is not a lesser act, it's a reminder that books are not ephemeral, or part of a throwaway culture. Books can be reread at different stages of your life, and offer something new each time.

Just finished Alan Garner's The Voice that Thundered and wow. I wish I had read it before Octocon. And now I need to reread everything he's written and catch up with the rest. I think I need to buy two copies, one for my dad, one for me.
