Speaking of Gluten-free. We queued for a while at the popup WhattheDuckTruck (on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/whattheducktruck?igsh=ZWc4MXQxancybGVo) the loaded chicken and chips were very yummy and I'm looking forward to the sweet treats

I'm sick and tired of people who complain about "gluten free" on stuff that shouldn't have gluten. It's because some people do. Wheat starch and barley malt is pervasive. It's used as thickener and flavouring respectively. Yes! Stop complaining about something that eases other lives.

These numbers should be amplified everywhere there is a flat surface. The 3,000 person sample size was statistically significant. The direction of travel is positive but runs directly contrary to the perception born in the echo-chamber of Twitter-brained media and politics. (H&CC is a client)

Imagine if the arts was entitled to as much coverage as sports. Instead of constant reports of who won a match or a race again, a mandatory part of our news was discussing stories and music and exhibitions and stuff. Imagine a population raised with that as part of their everyday environment.

Fun* fact: The majority of the vast whaling fleets commissioned and operated by the Nazis in the Antarctic were built and operated by Unilever. "Almost drove the Blue Whale to extinction" is a corporate achievement they don't boast about as much as they did back then though. *Not fun.

So sad to learn of the passing of Moya Brennan of Clannad. For me, her singing was the bridge between the old traditions of Irish music and something new and vibrant as contemporary sounds and influences came into it. Her instrument was her voice, and it was stunning.

The only way to durably protect hauliers - and the economy - against fossil fuel shocks is to support them to electrify trucks. Sales of electric trucks in China outsold diesel trucks last December. So far this year, only one electric HVG was newly registered in Ireland.

Fuck. Might have to add this to the personal manifesto. Things that should happen: 1: Excise lowered on petrol/diesel, straight away but temporary. 2: Government subsidised electric cars, by Eircode, to encourage rural pick up, ASAP. 3: Get a new programme of wind and solar up and running ASAP
