The Epstein files changed me forever. I read them in painstaking detail over months, realizing in real time that we are not ruled by laws equally applied. We are ruled by wealth, access, and protection networks. America is a syndicate. Iāll never get over it, so donāt ask me to.

Recently, I've heard lots of liberals say things like: "Most people calling for a revolution don't understand how bad things get during a revolution". While this has some truth to it, I would argue that most people don't understand how bad it will be if we don't do a revolution.

Unfortunately, Labour turned out to have been captured by a clique of right wing careerists on the take, who of course would pander to fascists if they thought there were votes in it. They were wrong, of course, but think themselves far too clever to be wrong so are still doubling and tripling down.

Do we think things like ādeliberately selling off all of our capacity make and do things, and to improve the lives of the public, out of ideological convictionā might have played a part. What about 15 years of austerity, or reducing politics to just crackdowns and angry screaming at outgroups?

It's convenient that the electoral process is never to blame. The system disenfranchises people by design. You can't entirely blame the results of that on the people who it disenfranchises. Blame systemic problems on the systems that cause them. Blame the class who fight to keep them rotten.

Don't call it "expanding" SCOTUS. And, for God's sake, don't call it "court-packing." Call it **right-sizing** the Court. (There are 13 circuits now -- not the 9 circuits there were when it was set at 9 justices 157 effing yrs ago!) Or call it *modernizing* the Court. Thank you.
