Ignoring the fact that there’s no money, what else would you find at the Wolf 359 gift shop? - tiny pieces of lost starship? - holoprograms recreating the battle? - plush animals in Starfleet uniforms? - a board book starship alphabet?

This 4-nacelled Excelsior study model is usually stylized as an Excelsior derivative, but I decided to model it with more fidelity to the original model. It'll be a miniature for TrekCaptains. Kilimanjaro class comes from @wolf359project.bsky.social

Some concept art from Picard (not by me) showing a Vesta class starship on an MSD. I personally would have picked a very different bridge layout, but within the show this would have been a "quick" set redress. That Vesta, (USS Hikaru Sulu) + Captain Harry Kim part was dropped from the story.

Alrighty - update on this shot! Tons of revisions and fixes, as well as new music SFX and VO. I'm hopeful everyone likes it. :) I did forget to add the welding VFX, though - and the VO is AI and will be replaced with actual Voice Actor work in the final.

#Wolf359OnThisDay With the threat of the cube gone Starfleet swiftly moves secure the debris and prevent it from falling to earth and dispatches a long overdue relief effort to the Wolf 359 system to search for survivors. The Enterprise reports to Mckinley for debrief and refit.

On Janus IV, President Amitra and her staff are watching via real time subspace comms.

#Wolf359OnThisDay Suddenly, almost without warning the Cube explodes. The Enterprise is able to clear the shockwave just barely, the explosion is seen all across the Northern American continent, it is met with cheers and confusion

#Wolf359OnThisDay Onboard the Enterprise there is a breakthrough as Commander Data is able to penetrate the Borg network and reach through to Picard, the Borg halt their advance.

#Wolf359OnThisDay As the Cube approaches Earth Orbit only now does the population start to believe the reports about this terrifying new threat, there is some minor panic but at the Academy the groundskeeper Boothby defiantly chooses to continue his work

Onboard the Enterprise the crew are attempting to 'Hack' into the Borg Collective consciousness to try and stop the cube

#Wolf359OnThisDay The Borg cube has entered the Sol System, closely perused by the Enterprise, it passes Jupiter Station easily destroys the 3 flight of SDL ships that defied orders and went to intercept the Cube
