pinned post!
Going through my photos I found this little pic John Shakespeare sent to me. Bawling my eyes out - have lost too many people over the past year - but feel he is sending me a message - stop crying? listen to The Smiths? write your poetry? live?

“Frog,” said Toad, “if I dust my chairs and scrub my windows and water my plants right now, then I will not have to do it tomorrow, will I?” “No,” said Frog. “You will not have to do any of it.”

Took a day trip to Helsinki and was captivated by the peace and liability of the city. While it may be northern and cold, it is car-light and has wonderful history, architecture, transit, and places to spend time and socialize including saunas.

Midsomer Murders plots

A social distancer is found with a crushed skull from an empty coke bottle dropped from a light plane. Suspicion falls on Midsomer Wyvern’s Shangri La club owners, deeply concerned that efforts to curb industrial pollution in the town might threaten too many broken hearts in the world.

gobbledygook – a mish mash, a motley mix of words passed through bedlam – sieved finely – what fiasco is this? – a mango for a horse? should we just peel and eat and forget the woes forget the lives that never get to live under the tyranny of words?

Giving minimum wage earners (about 100,000 people) a 6% wage increase to match inflation, and the 3m or so workers who have awards tied to it a 4.75% is not going to cause a wage price spiral. It means they can buy what they are already buying. Like bread AND milk and maybe some biscuits and fuel
