My PC (well - more like my Windows) broke this week. It's repaired now but sadly I lost most of my art of the last 12 years... I'm so annoyed about the fact, that I could've done MANY backups in that time but my depressed ass did 0 backups. In 12 years. I'm devastated... so easily avoidable...

Speaking to the current discourse, I don't give a single fuck if light reflections move in an ultra realistic way, or skin textures are lifelike. I do not think that is worth burning the planet around us. The constant race for lifelike fidelity and "realism" has done exponential harm to the artform.

No i do not want to use ai to optimize my schedule, plan my meals, pick my outfits, tell me where to go, what to think, how to live. You are a human being, with life and sentience. Use your fucking brains and experience the world around. Live your life, not what a fucking chatbot tells you. Fuck.

It says a lot that AI “artists” are so creatively bankrupt they think writing prompts is a difficult, arduous task. You realize coming up with a prompt is what a real artist would call “having an idea,” right? It took them weeks of sleepless nights to have some basic thoughts.

Stupid people do realize, that AI can't fix their stupidity, right? It might just get rid of the last, probably already dying brain cells though. If that's what they want... *shrug*
