It’s been a while since the last DnD game I was in ended but if/when I ever play again I want to try and figure out a way for my character to be essentially a pair of goblins in a trench coat (but the trench coat is like a wizard outfit) and just sort of see how that goes.

Got completely swept up in First Light and stayed up way too late last night to finish the story. Really enjoyed it. Thought the majority of the acting was phenomenal, the narrative sharp (while not necessarily breaking any new ground) and the pace was great. Minor nitpicks but overall had a blast.

I don’t know how better to explain my social media other than I like to genuinely support folks making cool shit and do what I can to be a positive on my small slice of the spectrum. And because of that I have come to know a lot of very talented and very nice folks who I will cheer on whenever I can

I would rather snap my own legs in half and stab the bones into my eyes than push some genAI slop shit out into the world. The idea of letting this extremely gross and perverse tech anywhere near my work or process is repulsive. The state of industry “leaders” bending over for a bag is shameful.

Went on a lunchtime thought spiral about a line of shop merch which is just stuff with fun ampersand designs on them. I really just want it for me.

Steam Deck prices on the rise? Brother I have a (barely) used one I would happily sell to someone lol. One thing the deck and Switch more so have taught me is I am in no way a handheld game enjoyer at this point.

Posting an anime we love?

I don’t know why this has happened but one thing I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older is folks who aren’t able to just dislike a piece of media that they don’t jove with and instead treat it with hostility. No real point to this observation just something I’ve seen. Either way go find something cool.

Decided to bake a bit since the weathers been just 60s and rain. Tossed on some music and got into it. I made a couple little pumpkin spice loafs. Portioned these out to four total but could totally cut down smaller if desired. 155cal per serv 22g net carb 7g fat 14g protein #tkcooks

This week’s lunch, back to a personal favorite. 506cal 26g net carb 13g fat 67g protein I’ve found I still try and tweak things when I have an idea or feel I can improve it. So I am always trying to see if I can make my macaroni and cheese better (to my tastes) #tkcooks

Weekends are for experimenting. ~420cal per serving (made 2, 2 slice servings 17g net carb 19g fat 53g protein A bit more spongey than a traditional pizza dough but it could be the lower flour content. I’ll probably tweak it next time and see what happens. Still tasty though. #tkcooks

Recently got around to finally checkig out Absolute Batman since I wanted something new to read on a flight. Really cool take and I am always down to read some Scott Snyder. Ended up sketching the big fella.

Selfishly I find myself occasionally wondering what some of my art friends interpretations of my little candle people would look like. Or how they would draw Detective Dino, the frog samurai or Heepo. But then again I have a slight fear that they would do too good a job and make me feel shame lol

I have had such a strong urge to just draw some ninja turtles lately. Somebody pay me so I can warrant this happening.

This week’s meal prep was some chicken club wraps that are really more folds. Still tasty though. Each has about 450 cals with 6g net carbs 21g fat and 59g protein. Enjoyed it while watching a neat little documentary called Listers on youtube. If you’re into birds check it out. #tkcooks

Back after a small break out of state and it is very hard remembering who I have responded to, who I still need to and who I am waiting to hear back from 🫠
