I've been plotting to leave CA for a little over 24 months now--because of personal dissatisfaction in a few key areas of my life. There are certain narratives that society has instilled in the public's psyche about specific* groups of people. I've noticed that if I don't adhere to said narrative and/or if my journey deviates from it, people (typically men) tend to short-circuit and run in the opposite direction.

TikTok transfers ownership on Jan 22nd and Oracle will be in charge of the algorithm. Much of the news and topics you go to TikTok for will be suppressed and propaganda will likely be pushed to the front. A reminder: you are not innately immune to propaganda. Stay vigilant.
