Presently sick and got my ass out to enjoy the warm up yesterday and felt so much better mentally. Do try if all you do is go for a walk around the block or continuously dance to a 5min or more track. To move your body is to help keep your light going.

Give yourself something to anticipate each month. Even the smallest plans can bring a spark of joy and do wonders for your mental well-being.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but working out will change your energy. And this is coming from someone with an illness who lives with chronic fatigue. This isn’t about forcing your body past its limits. But if you are capable, just try.

The way they sees the world, relationships, power& patterns is not shaped by the same lens I grew up with. They notices things I would have missed. They names dynamics I was taught to normalize. The way they guides me & asks questions opens angles I would not have reached on my own.

One of the best decisions I made as a heterosexual woman was choosing a queer therapist. You’re welcome 😊

I sincerely pray that god gives him peace to endure this horrible situation, he lost close friends so soon after such a wonderful win. I’m glad he is still with us, and I really hope he’s able to move forward (eventually) with love.
