rewatch 'Dead End: Paranormal Park' s. 1 e. 3 is probably still my favorite because of how it shows how Norma, an autistic character, experiences the world and her fears. "New people are scary. Actually just people. Period." - Norma (honestly, all my nightmares are 'just' of social interactions)

No idea why some people see representation in media as some kind of propaganda. It's not. To me it's an offer to either find parts of yourself in it or at the very least get an insight into people different than you, an offer to understand them. 1/2

"Just tell them" is such an underrated piece of advice for telegraphing dangers in RPGs. "How can I hint that the hallway is trapped? How can I hint that if they defeat the dungeon lord, they become the next dungeon lord?" Just tell them. Tell them out loud. With your words.

Saw three teenage boys wearing hoodies, trying to act cool. The hoodie colors: light blue, white and pink. Not sure they were aware that they had the colors of the transgender flag, but ❤️ if they were aware of it. :-)

I mean, yeah, basically. Hell, shit like this applies to characters in TTRPGs as well, and really does help reinforce that, as a GM, it's our responsibility to try and make our worlds as believable as possible for our players. Easiest way to do that? Have a diverse collection of NPCs. #TTRPG

Getting blocked by someone for liking a post of the person after this person followed me? That were the only interactions. Fascinating. That's the first time in human interaction where I don't even have any basis to let my thoughts spiral out of control. :-D Kind of disappointing for the RSD.

Finished my first playthrough of #teenageexocolonist Game left me hanging a bit in the last year; couldn't progress some parts of the story. But I loved it anyway. But, oh, so much heartbreak! Anyway. Got the 'professor' ending and lived a reasonably good life with Dys. :) Next time: save Tammy.

Finished (re-)watching Star Trek: TOS. #sttos Surprisingly exhausting. We have much faster storytelling nowadays. I loved Spock, may be even more than when I was a kid, but always contrarian Bones was annoying. My love for sci-fi started with this (et al.), but rewatching it, just glad it's over. 😅

Back from watching #28YearsLater - very wild! Couldn't guess what would happen next most of the time. I enjoyed watching it. I did not expect the choice of main character. At the end it seems we're in Mad Max level of post-apocalyptic weirdness - that's not a complaint. :) Curious for the next one.

9 participants in a VHS* course on drawing comics. And I'm the only man... again. It was the same for a creative writing course a while ago. Do men not like creative courses? ...or creativity? * VHS = Volkshochschule (german) -> apparently that is 'adult education center' in english.

After the 4 cool guys using sign language yesterday, more interesting observations today: first there were some young women with styling that looked like it took a while and one of them was telling another one "hey, you look beautiful whatever you're wearing". Giving her a confidence boost. 1/2

Back from the God Is An Astronaut + Jo Quail concert in Hamburg. Absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it (with at least 10 times the volume I usually listen to music 😅). I don't go to concerts often - too many people. But this I had to see live! (Oh, and now I have two GIAA T-shirts 🙂)

I love when my preconceptions are challenged. Early evening, already dark. 4 young guys. From their presentation I expected them to be loud and annoyingly masculine in behaviour. Well, masculine, yes. Loud, not so much. They conversed in sign language with each other. :) <3 I want to learn that too.

#fallguys is an unusual game to meet friendly players. But sometimes I just play silly games with someone in Blast Ball instead of fighting. Or just now a high lvl squad backed out. The previous final it was just me against them, but we waved friendly to each other and I gave them the win early. <3
