1) I really like Rabbi Ruttenberg and I agree with this. Painting is one of my internal fortifications, and in fact, I had an uncle who learned to paint while he was a POW in WWII in an internment camp. I have several of his paintings. Some from not long after he came back.

Looking at things like this makes me think about how many more cool buildings we would have…if people weren’t always so hell bent on renovating.
