When the strike was on, I tried to use an alternate shipper for my Etsy orders, but a bunch of packages were declined for being "too remote" for delivery. This included ALL OF VANCOUVER ISLAND. If it costs them too much, private business will not deliver mail. Fund Canada Post!

One of the Kimmel threads on Reddit led to a series of posts of people cancelling the ABC- and CBS- affiliated subscriptions. Included are Hulu, ESPN, Disney+, Paramount, "And Amazon Prime for good measure." Many suggested sending PBS $5 a month instead.

I would love to be part of the conversation on MSNBC related to the Kimmel story and it's chilling effects on first amendment, but unfortunately I was terminated by MSNBC for stating that "hateful thoughts lead to hateful words which lead to hateful actions".

A grim reminder: these people will never be satisfied. There’s no point at which they will say “we’ve won, let’s enjoy life.” They will always be looking for someone else to punish, to revile, to dehumanize. They’re empty without that.
