I tried Animales' new location for the first time and loved it. Same great BBQ as the old spot, but with an expanded menu and in a nice big space. Perfect place to go with a group and order way too much to share, especially. Can't recommend it enough.

New podcast! This one is probably more like "urgent care" than "emergency." But don't worry, we've got a special intro song for that, too. Taylor Rogers is reuniting with the Twins, adding the left-hander to a bullpen that needs all the help it can get:

All we had to do was take our responsibilities as voters seriously and not elect an obvious raving lunatic to the most powerful office on earth. It was an open book test, one simple question, and we failed it.

D&J Glove Repair will be closed Friday. For a one man shop like me this isn't as much of a sacrifice as other businesses are making but what's happening in Minneapolis/St. Paul and across Minnesota can't and shouldn't be ignored.

There's no telling how many hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised to pay rent and for food and other supplies for the many people who have to shelter in place and it should not be this way but I'm proud as fuck of everyone who is helping in any way they can.
